At Happy Pug Pups, we want your puppy’s journey to their new home to be as smooth as possible. Whether you plan to pick up your puppy in person or use a transportation service, we will work with you to coordinate an option that fits your location and schedule.

Our team is available to answer questions and provide updates throughout the process so you know what to expect before your puppy comes home.

In-Person Pickup

Many families enjoy meeting their new puppy in person. We offer scheduled pickup appointments once your puppy is ready to leave for their new home.

Pickup appointments may include:

  • Scheduled weekend appointments, subject to availability

  • Weekday pickup appointments by prior arrangement

  • Flexible scheduling whenever possible

  • Time to review your puppy’s records and answer any remaining questions

We recommend arriving at your scheduled appointment on time so your pickup experience can proceed smoothly.

Visiting Our Puppies

To help maintain a clean and healthy environment for our puppies, visits are available by appointment only.

For the wellbeing of young puppies:

  • Walk-in visits are not available.

  • Visits are generally scheduled after a puppy has been reserved.

  • Appointment availability depends on the age of the puppies and our care schedule.

These guidelines help us minimize unnecessary stress for the puppies while supporting appropriate health and sanitation practices.

Transportation Assistance

If traveling to pick up your puppy is not practical, Happy Pug Pups may assist in arranging transportation within the United States through experienced pet transportation providers, where available.

Depending on your location, transportation options may include:

  • Airport pickup at a participating location

  • Ground transportation

  • Home delivery in select service areas

Availability varies based on destination, scheduling, and transportation provider services.

Estimated Transportation Fees

Transportation costs vary depending on distance and travel requirements.

Typical starting estimates include:

  • Airport pickup: Starting at $250

  • Home delivery: Starting at $300

Final pricing will be confirmed before transportation arrangements are made.

Preparing for Delivery

Once transportation has been scheduled, we will provide available travel information, which may include:

  • Scheduled departure and arrival details

  • Estimated delivery or pickup time

  • Transportation updates when provided by the carrier

  • Instructions for receiving your puppy

Our goal is to keep you informed throughout the travel process.

Before Your Puppy Travels

Before leaving for their new home, your puppy may receive:

  • A final wellness examination by a licensed veterinarian

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations and preventive care

  • Required travel documentation, when applicable

  • An approved travel crate if required by the transportation provider
